Port Macquarie Hastings Council Housing Strategy

We prepared a comprehensive Local Housing Strategy for Port Macquarie-Hastings Council following the process and structure of DPIE's Local Housing Strategy Guideline and Template. Building on Council’s recently completed Urban Growth Management Strategy, the project involved a review of Council’s residential LEP and DCP controls to provide specific recommendations for proposed changes. Once complete, the LHS will establish a planning framework for residential land which facilitates a mix of housing choice, responds to local character, and addresses the needs of current and future residents.
