We prepared a site specific Planning Proposal which was lodged with Lane Cove Council in 2016. The Planning Proposal was supported by the Sydney North Planning Panel at a Gateway Review in 2017. The purpose of the planning proposal was to introduce seniors living as a permissible use on the site and change the applicable development controls. The PP was gazetted as part of the first tranche of DPIE’s Accelerated Assessment Project in May 2020 in recognition of the urgent need for residential aged care facilities in northern Sydney. We subsequently prepared and lodged a Development Application which was approved by the Sydney North Planning Panel in April 2021.
