Kirrawee Brick Pit

What we did

We provided strategic town planning advice and services for a development application for a major new ‘brownfield’ town centre development on the site of the former Kirrawee Brick Pit. We provided pre and post lodgement planning advice, liaised with the Department of Planning and Sutherland Council (including negotiating a VPA) and prepared the relevant planning documents including the Environmental Assessment Report, preferred project report and statement of commitments. The Planning Assessment Commission granted concept approval for the development, which will transform with major degraded site and provide a significant economic and social stimulus to the Kirrawee Centre and community.
