New High School in Edmondson Park

Gyde was engaged by School Infrastructure NSW in early 2023to undertake due diligence investigations and provide planning approval pathways advice with regard to a new high school in the Edmondson Park South Precinct.

Following on from those investigations, we worked closely with SI and the broader project team to prepare a comprehensive State Significant Development Application package, which was under assessment by the Department as of late March 2024.

Gyde’s involvement in the SSDA process involved preparation of a robust Environmental Impact Statement, Engagement Outcomes Report and Social Impact Assessment, to support the new high school.  The EIS provided an evaluation and assessment of over 50 technical inputs with respect to the environmental assessment requirements (SEARs) for the project, to ensure a good planning, environmental and social outcome will be delivered for the site and Precinct.

Gyde will continue to work with SI, the team and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of this important social infrastructure project.
