28-32 Victoria St and 17 & 21 George St, Burwood

What we did

The proposal involves the demolition of existing structures at 21 George Street, Burwood, and the construction of a new mixed-use development featuring retail, commercial spaces, serviced apartments, and residential units. This development also seeks to amend previously approved projects at 28-34 Victoria Street and 17 George Street by utilising the Infill Affordable Housing provisions of the recently amended State Environmental Planning Policy (Housing) 2021.

Overall, the proposal will deliver 380 dwellings, approximately 4,500m2 of commercial floor space within which a private hospital will operate, 6 basement levels for parking, a publicly accessible through site link, as well as extensive amounts of communal open space. The site is conveniently located within the centre of Burwood, and within walking distance to a range of commercial services, retail services, entertainment options, as well as a number of public transport options.
