In keeping with the growth of our professional team and provide the best possible outcomes for our clients on a vast range of planning matters, we are pleased to announce the inclusion of social impact assessment and community engagement services to our portfolio.
In July 2021 the Department of Planning and Environment released a Guideline to support the requirement for all State significant projects to prepare a social impact assessment (SIA). The SIA guideline provides a framework to identify, predict and evaluate likely social impacts and propose responses to them.
The inclusion of this expertise at Gyde means we can now offer our clients the convenience of a SIA and any community engagement activity as part of our work on State significant projects, as well as planning proposals, development applications and other planning matters.
The inclusion of this expertise also enables us to offer additional client services including social and cultural policy and strategy development, infrastructure planning and public art planning advice.
These services align with Gyde’s continuing commitment to provide clients with advice and quality outcomes from a professional team with expertise in a range of complimentary planning disciplines.
