About the person we are looking for
We want someone with enthusiasm, positive energy and a commitment to delivering in a business support role. This is an excellent opportunity for a person who is interested in learning and growing their experience within an expanding company, with the potential to further develop the role in the future. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to learn and adapt, as well as a pragmatic approach to problem solving, effective communication skills, and attention to detail. You will be a polite and reliable contact point for colleagues and clients. We are seeking someone who is self-organised, with the ability to prioritise and complete tasks effectively within deadlines, track and implement actions, identify potential process improvements and work flexibly as part of a team.

Under the direction of the Practice Manager and Executive Directors, a successful candidate will be required to:
- Assist with the preparation and compilation of fee proposals and tender submissions within deadlines

- Assist with internal communications (i.e. newsletters) and presentations
- Undertake a range of business support tasks – which will be different every day, and which would suit someone who learns quickly and enjoys daily evolving challenges
About You - Qualifications & Experience
While we value experience in a similar role and would take a positive view of any experience in town planning or architectural practices (or local government), we are interested in many other capabilities as well.
We are focused on employing people with positive attitude and future capability – and how you might grow, develop and succeed with us. You might have additional skills in marketing, communication or data analytics that could add value to your business support role. We are also open to job share or part time proposals from the right candidate(s).
We expect a successful candidate to have existing skills in:
